We were having some cuddles at bedtime. Mommy asked for kisses. Jasper stood on the couch next to her and repeatedly moved his head toward hers for these awesome full-face kisses.
Super Cute.

Clapping
We've been showing Jasper how to clap, especially in his high chair at dinner time. Jasper clapped for the first time Saturday! His sisters gave him a wild round of applause.

The Wave
Jasper is waving now. It's a really crazy hinge-wristed wave.
Almost everything he does is cute, but this is even cuter.

Cruisin'
Violet said, "Look, Dad. Jasper's walking."
I looked and saw that Jasper was standing and moving, but he was using the couch.
"Not yet, bud, " I said to Violet. "He's Cruisin!"

Momma
Christie was holding jasper, and she told me that she had been working with him.
"OK, Jasper, you can do it," and she says "Momma" over and over.
Jasper just looks at her mouth and smiles.
"Momma, momma, momma," she says again.
I would never have believed it if I hadn't seen it, but Jasper said, "Momma."
Wild.

Rolling Again
Jasper wasn't where I put him on Saturday of this week. It turns out that he can roll from back to belly and back again. So he log rolls along.
Also, Christie had him on his belly, while she was in front of him. He didn't quite crawl, but he did sort of drag himself about a foot forward. Anything to get to his Momma.

Eating Machine
Jasper has been taking solid food for a few weeks now. Our main observation is that he's an eating machine. Our girls eventually got the hang of eating, but we remember the first few weeks being pretty messy as they were figuring it out. Piles of napkins and wipes to get through a meal with them.
Jasper, on the other hand, was made for this. You give him the spoon, he sucks it in, cleans it, lowers his lip and swallows. No learning curve, just instant solid(-ish) food.
There is, of course, the aerosol spitting when he's sick of the food, though....
