Misplaced Snarl

We were at the lake up and Maine, and Christie's sister Steph was with us. We were sitting with our toes in the water, enjoying a great day.

He wanted something, probably another snack after he'd already eaten several. Christie told him 'No.' He looked over to Step and snarled loudly, a full growl as if he was doing a grizzly bear impression. He realized it was pointed at Steph and says, "Oh, I'm sorry Auntie. That was for Mommy."

Cute. Even when he's snarling, he's polite to his Aunt.

Boob Cackle

Christie had Jasper on her lap and she was giving him some hugs before bed. Jas kept saying "Boobah" and pulling at Christie's shirt. After he reached into her shirt a few more times, she took her boob out.

Jas let out a surprise cackle that bordered on maniacal. It was at this point, when Christie was giggling that I came into the room.

"Look," she says, and took her boob out again. Again Jas cackles with a mad grin. Then, he gets mad when she puts it away!

I guess this kid likes the boobs.

Jasper kisses

We were having some cuddles at bedtime. Mommy asked for kisses. Jasper stood on the couch next to her and repeatedly moved his head toward hers for these awesome full-face kisses.

Super Cute.

Clapping

We've been showing Jasper how to clap, especially in his high chair at dinner time. Jasper clapped for the first time Saturday! His sisters gave him a wild round of applause.

Chopper!

Jasper's got a chopper on his lower lip!

The Wave

Jasper is waving now. It's a really crazy hinge-wristed wave.

Almost everything he does is cute, but this is even cuter.

Cruisin'

Violet said, "Look, Dad. Jasper's walking."

I looked and saw that Jasper was standing and moving, but he was using the couch.

"Not yet, bud, " I said to Violet. "He's Cruisin!"
